The Epitaph

Desmond Kamas
Desmond is the design co-editor of the newspaper, and makes sure there is a balance between consistency of design with interest and novelty. He has a strong appreciation for pica spacing and outline-free photos and ensuring that the other pages designers share his sentiments. He likes to write reviews of young adult fiction and short news pieces on the hidden parts of Homestead. Outside of journalism, Desmond obsesses over Swedish pop, plays the piano and harbors a collection of way too many bottle caps. This is his second year on the Epitaph.
