Students explore Japan with an activity and performance
Japanese National Honor Society (JNHS) began the second day of Multi-Cultural Week with a kendama booth during brunch.
Students got the chance to learn how to play with a traditional japanese kendama toy. The student had to pull the ball upward so that it either got caught in one of the cups or landed within the hole on the spike, JNHS officer Allisha Kojo said.
During lunch, San Jose Taiko performed on the stage in the quad. Taiko is a form of percussion involving the use of large drums, blended into a Japanese art form. a
