n their fifth leg, Pentatonix came to San Jose SAP Center for their first performance back in North America on Oct. 17, 2016.

Opening the stage, “Us the Duo” set was well performed, interactive with the audience and set the mood for the concert for the first half hour. “Us the Duo” also made another appearance during the concert and joined with Pentatonix during their seventh song, “If I ever fall in love.”

Pentatonix’s use of the stage space was well performed as the group actively moved from one side of the stage to the other throughout each set. The use of lighting was also well used as they changed with every beat with the song and used colors to set the mood for every set.

My favorite set was the “Evolution of Michael Jackson” and “Love yourself” cover. The performance was exhilarating to watch with the lights in the background constantly changing. Another one of my favorite sets is their cover of “Ride” by Twenty One Pilots.

This is definitely a concert I enjoyed attending and would recommend to friends who are also fans of Pentatonix or friends who like this type of music. I am also excited for their new upcoming Christmas album in December.
