On Feb. 4, students from HHS, FHS and Sunnyvale Middle School walked out of their fifth period classes to attend an anti-ICE protest at Sunnyvale city hall. To prepare for this, students created unique handmade signs expressing protest messages.
The signs contributed to a powerful protest atmosphere and allowed attending students to voice their own opinions amid the cacophony of group chants throughout the demonstration.
